I could not wait to post Laura and Paul’s beautiful Mansfield Traquair wedding in Edinburgh on my blog. For the simple reason that it is an exquisite wedding venue, the ceiling and architecture is simply stunning. When you see it for the first time you can understand why it is also known as Edinburgh’s Sistine chapel. It is an absolute joy to photograph weddings in such a fantastic wedding venue.
Laura and Paul were also a great couple to work with. As a surprise, Paul had arranged for Laura to receive a very cute Nissan Figaro as a wedding gift on the morning of the wedding. I didn’t think Laura could quite believe that she was not only going to be driven to the venue in it but would get to keep it afterwards too! I especially loved the moment the wedding car pulled up at the venue with Laura inside being driven by her father. Despite the wedding taking place early November, it was a very mild day with crisp winter sunshine. As is the case with many winter weddings we tried to make use of the natural light outside before it sadly disappeared completely. I also especially love the portraits we managed inside the wedding venue too! After the couple shots there were some great speeches and an evening spent on a busy dance floor. On the whole, Laura and Paul’s Mansfield Traquair wedding certainly kept me on my feet all day!
As an Edinburgh wedding photographer, I can say there are many stunning wedding venues in the city but Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh is definitely one of my favourites. You can find also find more information and blog posts on other wedding venues in Edinburgh on this page. However, Edinburgh wedding venues don’t get much better than this and below you can see some of my favourite images from Laura and Paul’s Mansfield Traquair wedding.
