SCOTTISH WEDDING VENUES

There are many fantastic Scottish wedding venues and on this page you will find blog posts from a number of wedding venues in Scotland I have photographed weddings at. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings at candle lit chapels and remote highland beaches to name but a few! From beautiful landscapes to chic city centre venues, there is something for everyone. If you’re looking to hire a wedding photographer you are probably in the early stages of wedding planning and perhaps have booked your wedding venue already. You might then like to search my website to see if I have shot at your wedding venue before. Unfortunately, I can’t post on the website every wedding I shoot so if your venue is not listed you can always contact me to ask.

Some of my favourite Scottish wedding venues include Mansfield Traquair in Edinburgh, Kinkell Byre by St Andrews and Craigsanquhar House in Fife. As much as I love returning to shoot at some of my favourite venues, I equally love photographing at new wedding venues I haven’t visited before. If I have not shot at a particular venue before then I will usually take some time out of my schedule to visit the venue in person. This way I can get a feel for the venue and do some location scouting before the wedding. You may even have some ideas of your own for good locations nearby but the important factor to consider is travel time to and from the venue or if the ceremony is taking place at a different location than the reception. In general, the less time spent travelling between locations on the wedding day the better.

If you are planning to get married at one of the many Scottish wedding venues on offer, please contact me to discuss your wedding or check my availability.
