When Sam and Deborah asked me to photograph their Errol Park wedding it was the first time I had shot at this beautiful country house. Set in a large rural estate halfway between Perth and Dundee, the grand period house is full of character including the biggest assortment of taxidermy I have ever come across! Read all about it or see for yourself and skip to the pictures below.
Sam and Deborah were also just lucky enough with the weather to have their ceremony outdoors on the front lawn as planned. Some light drizzle during the wedding ceremony certainly didn’t put them off (the brollies on hand!). They then hosted their evening reception in the large open courtyard (formally a stable). All in all, a perfect setting for a wedding and perhaps one of my all time favourite wedding venues in Scotland. There is just no end to the photographic opportunities at this venue! Sam’s Dad had also very generously lent his beautiful white Jaguar Mark 2 for the day’s proceedings. If you are not familiar with the classic Mark 2 Jaguar then this may jog your memory. I especially love some of the photos we took with that lovely Jaguar later in the day. There were also some sparklers on hand for a few photos before I left for the day. Hopefully my pictures did this wedding (and venue) justice and you can find another Errol Park wedding up on my blog shortly.
On my website you can find also find out about other nearby wedding venues in Perthshire including a lovely Comrie Croft wedding if you might prefer a barn style wedding venue for your big day. However, if you’ve already booked your wedding venue then you might like to get in touch and discuss having me photograph your own wedding. I would love to hear from you.
