I first met Chris and Brandi at a local wedding fair where they had told me all about their wedding plans. With a candlelit ceremony at Balgonie Castle and reception at Balbirnie House it sounded as though it be a great wedding to photograph! Both of which are venues I’ve shot at before and you can find featured on my page dedicated to Fife wedding venues. It wasn’t long before they had emailed me to say they’d love to book me to photograph their wedding. Although my days of attending weddings days are over I’m so glad I met this amazing couple. Brandi, originally from Texas, and Chris, from nearby but no less glamorous Kirkcaldy, were so much fun to photograph. We also had the most glorious evening sunshine for the shoot which resulted in lovely pastel tones in the photos. We also made use of the lovely sea beams at Dysart Harbour which resemble a kind of modern art sculpture. An engagement shoot is a great way to feel more comfortable in front of the camera before any wedding photography and it clearly shows here! If you would like to discuss having an engagement shoot before your wedding day you can easily get in touch with Edinburgh wedding photographer Hamish Robb using the contact page above.
